Deep into recesses or deep holes

The maximum feature of long sockets is the long length (usually 2-5 times longer than the standard socket or even longer), which can easily extend into recesses, deep holes, or positions surrounded by other components.

The bolts inside the cylinder block of the car, the nuts in the deep holes of the transmission, which are not accessible by ordinary short sockets, can be directly deep into and clamped by long sockets.

The bolts inside the mechanical equipment (such as the fixing bolts on the inner side of the large motor housing) need to be long sockets to penetrate through the gap of the external structure touch.

 

Protecting fasteners and tools
