72 teeth means that the ratchet only needs to rotate 5° to complete a bite (360 ÷ 72 = 5°), which is much smaller than the ordinary ratchet wrench (such as 36 teeth need 10°). This it to operate in an extremely narrow space (such as the engine compartment, pipeline gap) without frequently removing the wrench to adjust the angle, greatly improving the efficiency of continuous operation.
