The construction of each 1/2" socket in this 29 piece set consists of extremely strong Chrome vanadium (Cr-V) steel that will output greater torque, but also has a corrosion resistant black phosphate finish to give your sets longevity and longer lifespan.

Each socket has a unique design that grips the flat sides of fasteners rather than the corners to prevent stripping and rounding off of bolts. With a high torque impact gun, each Metric socket will torque the most stubborn fasteners.
